Birds and Christian Dream Symbols

The Dove certainly has a long tradition of being the Holy Spirit, or that of a messenger. Often people see single birds of flocks of birds after a loved one passes and keep seeing the same bird around the house that they never noticed before. Ravens and Doves: And he sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.
